In order to make room for Project Wonderful ads to help support the forums, we have to reduce the number of styles. There are now only two styles: m9orange and Hermes (which was, by far, the most popular of the non-default styles).

Kudos to Atilla for making this bad-ass default style.

Apologies to those using the green vision, Hello Kitty, or Ferari styles.

Maybe all the links sponsored by something? So when it's loading it shows an ad?

Ha, my comp is really slow, so it'd be there for a couple'a seconds, and you could always slow down the browser redirect

It would probably be a good idea to not get any more ads than are neccessary to cover the basic costs of running the forum. And why would it be a good idea to slow down navigation for the sake of ads? O_o

So in some future time, will there be any lighter styles? I can accept their current lack if that's the case.

If you're serious about the level of advertising, b_t, then I'm going to have to stop posting. I refuse to endorse Texaco. Of course, you're probably to an extent kidding, and Project Wonderful ads are often for webcomics and other things I don't mind supporting.

Also, gloomp, a couple of people have already started making their own skins which strongly resemble the one we had on Forumer, so you'll have those options if and when they're implemented.

Yeah, I know. I gave advice on one of 'em. It's not really a concern. In fact, I can live with this one.

Well, they can be to unobtrusive or the Project Wonderful people might complain on the ad placement. I mean, we can't just hide the add in a corner at the bottom of the page, can we?

Considering that every other website has the ability to do the same thing, that potentially we have access to a near infinite quantity of 'oil'?

You should feel ashamed for removing the Hello Kitty skin. I'm deeply disappointed.

I'm going to miss the Soul City skin. It was so nice and blue. Bah, sacrifices must be made.

About time someone showed sense to remove those inconspicuous forms of advertising. Hooray for Atilla, the admins, and everyone else related to the project.

I'll miss Soul_City, but Hermes beats it now.

I don't really like either of the current ones. I quite liked the old forum skin. Are they going to bring any new skins in in the future?
