I've gone over everyone's head and changed the forum layout.

Too bad.
The Community area should be easier to browse. The old News forum had a myriad disconnected ideas in there, many of which were just things people thought were important enough to be "news". Now, there's a section about the Forum, specifically, and one about the Community (just as before).
Some topics were moved from About this Forum and this Community to the new "Community Projects" area. If it's an important project, plan, or idea (like about IRC, Ventrilo, some big game tourney to be arranged, some new website you're working on, etc,); it goes into Community Projects now.
There is no "News", anymore. Everything you do is important. If it's about the Forums, put it into About this Forum. If it's a disassociated project, use Community Projects. Pretty straight forward.

Partly.
Rules and Regulations.
Which includes
The Rules and the
FAQ. But my point is that
only 2 topics?
Yes, 2 topics, but they are
huge. Everyone should read them, and obey the rules. I'm glad that this happened, people needs to memorize
all of the things that has written to there.
And
This Forum. This is like "news". At least some part of it. Updates, announcements, and other important shit goes to there. Except that there are other topics, other than it used to be in news forum. You put all of that in one place, which will be easier to look for it.
Community Projects. You cancelled Dimensional games forum, and put the topics to there,
but there are more to put there. İn fact, when you think of it, there are mapping contests, sig contests, and other stuff. But they have their own forum for it. So you moved topics that unrelated to forums they are in, and put them here.
And also I see main titles are changed.
Titles could stay the same, but you thought that it would be good to change these titles, because also the content of the main titles changed, 'cause there are new forums.
In a short sentence, I want to say that lots of these changes seems unimportant, but they are important as much as the forum itself, because
it's the forum
itself, and the changes within it. And well, these are my thoughts, but some of them are facts, important.

That's certainly a lot of words. A lot of them. Words are something in no short supply to your post and your post is rife with letterbunches and charctersets which are semantic, at worst, and used to apply meaning in context, where they are at their best. It was, at once, a content-filled sentenceheap, prosaic in its wordstringing--all letterchunked in the correct fashion; and! a lexical spool of definable runes.
Slaps: I think they are, already.

The continuing process of updating, renaming, and recategorizing your forums is going swimmingly. Everything I've done is without flaw. Don't like it? Too bad.
Oh, and about the double post? Haha! Too bad.

You're an admin,
come on.
I'm screwed up. Forums, got complicated. You said it's going to be easier to browse.

You say. <<<That was a mistake.<<<

New changes!
I'll need some time to get used to this, but anyway:
Since everything that Metanet has ever made actually is N (and N+), I see no reason for breaking N on Metanet and Mapping. At least wait for Robotology to come out.

You say.
And what I say goes, because:

I will tolerate no further insubordinance.
(If you read the new categories, it actually does organize the whole kit-and-kaboodle pretty nicely. And if it doesn't?
Too bad.)

The decision for this was mostly about how the mapping forums are pretty contigious, and the big "N" group was getting lengthy. Additionally, N+ is pretty important and it's gotten thrown into the mix. "Mapping" was going to be one of the initial top categories for TheRealN forums, but it didn't seem plausible at the time. Now, I think the mapping portion of the community is distinct enough to warrant its own nerdy section.
EDIT: But, again, I have no need to prove myself or justify any of my actions.
Too bad.

No, you are wrong.
Mapping and N are 2 different things, even mapping is within N.
And also
since everything that Metanet has ever made actually is N, N forum should be under the Metanet title, which also includes N mapping, but it's 2 different things.
Pretty complicated logic, but easy to understand.

No one has ever said something like that, Mr.Administrator.
Because you are an administator.

Tunco, you're a registered user.
This will take me some time to get used to... looks pretty different. I think I'm going to catch myself clicking on the fourth forum on the page, instead of F&G.

That doesn't means I can't talk logicly, and like an admin. But you made me keep that in my mind.
I already knew it.

Of course you can. It's good to give feedback, but you're doing it pretty harshly. You're being a bit pushy here, and making your point across like you're trying to be an admin.
Also, I was just joking around a bit, like I usually do! I think he knows he's an admin, so I'm reminding you you're a member.

I love the new layout, but wouldn't it be logical that Mapping would come up first than Metanet? I mean, it's more popular (uh, bad word, maybe "used"?).

Stop spamming and pretending it's content and opinions. More spam = banned forever. Too bad.
I wanna see five new names and new opinions in this thread before anyone old posts again. That just might be a good policy for anyone who has multiple warns about spamming and is on super secret double probation.

I could see that, yeah. Only N Discussion is even more popular, and it's the staple of the ever-growing Metanet forum.
Y'know, Robotology is in stage 791 of physics simulation and in stage 486 of blogging. About 519 more sims and 688 more blogs until it's probably in level design mode. And then it's only a few more months before it's out. Before you know it, the Metanet category will be expanding to fit Robotology and other new Metanet releases.

This is cool. Awkward at first, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. Anyways, maybe it'd be helpful to include all of the changes in the first post? Or just pedantic, whatever.

I also added atob as Global Mod, which he's likely found out by now.
We have 17 forum mods, 16 globals, and 10 admins. A weird amount.

This is going to take a bit of getting used to. I would have liked some pre-change notification so I could complain. However, in the end, it may work out being better.

Now why on earth would you think that?

I opened the first page and didn't notice anything different. Congratulations?
I only really use "View new posts" and "View your posts" anyway, so it makes no difference to me.

I like these changes. From what I've seen, the new organizational scheme is more logical. Good work!
