Guys, seriously. What the fuck?

I just felt that it was about time somebody said something. I mean, sure I can understand that there may be some "lawlz" at the "AW3SUMN T3XTZ", and that I might be a total "N00B" to you, but seriously, have some consideration for others.

You may not be aware of this, but not everyone uses the same skin as you. While we're at it, how about another fun fact. Different skins have different coloured backgrounds. Yeah I know, this might be a lot to comprehend at once, but do try. This means, that while it may look "k00l" to you, it's just really bloody annoying to everyone else. And I do mean EVERYONE else.

We shouldn't have to highlight every single thing you post, just to stop our eyes from hurting when having to read your posts, and the fact that you haven't thought about this just shows a complete absence of respect for the community. Hell, I'm surprised that this even needed to be said, really.

So just a quick summary. Until you learn to use the default colour text, I'm going to use colors to make your life especially difficult.

Yeah, that irritates me, too. Plus I like to use coloured text for power trips important mod announcements so they're easily noticed, and people using it willy-nilly detracts from that.

Really, though, I think that applying any formatting to everything you post is a bit silly. I mean, it's supposed to be used to convey additional meaning or apply emphasis, and making your entire post bright yellow or whatever doesn't really do that. I also see it as attention-seeking, RATHER LIKE POSTING IN ALL CAPS or making all your text twice as large as it should be.

bufar, on the other two skins, is fine, but I have to squint my eyes to see what he's saying. It's a bit annoying, since I use chrome, and I play the picnic game. It wasn't like scythe on the old forums... He used a browny-black colour on his posts, and the two skins were of similar lighter colours. There are some colours that work well on both skins, like this and this... If you're gonna use a colour, use a good one! :P

This rant, which makes out pretty wild, has a very valid point...

Really though, posting everything in a specific format is a bit silly. Although it could be used to attention-seek, which is useful in some cases. It can add some meaning to the text, otherwise, it shouldn't be used to attention-seek in purpose, or to annoy people.

It has some bad ways and good ways, btw.

I've always been pissed off at the people who type in colours... I mean, seriously, how difficult could it possibly be to type in just regular ol' black or white?
