00-4 corner jumps

Hi guys cooperverdon here.

So I've been working on a new method for completing 00-4 which involved 2 top corner jumps in a row. I was sure it could be done with some practice and was confident it would yield a score over 6520 if I could pull off even just a double bounce block jump after getting the key. I was able to achieve the 2 corner jumps, however, every time I over shot the left side wall of the last bounce block. I noticed that even without this problem, the floor guard was always by the door at the left of the map... in my way.

So I've concluded this method isn't possible. I'm proud of my effort, and figured some of you might be curious to see a similar replay in action. I've posted a remake of 00-4 under the name "00-4 breathing room corner replay [brcv]", so check out my replay. The changes for the level were to stop other (dare I say easier) methods beating my corner jump method and thus pushing me to below 0th, even off the leader board.

Thanks for reading/watching.

Regards

Thanks for saving me all the effort of trying that run cooper, it definitely occurred to me as I am so able to do those insane jumps.
No but seriously, good detective work, even if it bore no improvement :)

The floorguard being on the left, at least in v1.4, isn't a problem, unless the new physics make it impossible.

I'm saying this because 00-4 is a copy of 30-2 from N v1.4, maybe you want to check it out, macro and I are already doing the bounce block corner kick, and you can see this floorguard thing in action too, so maybe this helps.

You can see we don't do any second corner jump, I'm sure Raif tried MBD'ing it and couldn't, so it's probably impossible to avoid overshooting, but you can still do one as we do, and it's faster. I'd love to see you pulling off a run here too, but I think I already know the answer.
