Welcome to the first annual (that I'm aware of) METANET PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST WOOOOOO!

With Halloween only two weeks away, it's time to bust out the 'ol pumpkins for a good carvin'. So here's the deal: This is the sign-up thread, and if we get enough people to join in for a good competition we'll be on our way.

- It does NOT have to be N related!
- Pictures must be submitted by PM AND PM ONLY to ME.
- One entry per person!
- I don't particularly care what format the pictures are, but keep the file size down (If your photo is disgustingly large I will not take the time to rescale it myself and it will be discarded)
- You must write your user name on a piece of paper and include it in the picture so we know it's real
- Don't submit anything that violates the rules of the forums
- You have until OCTOBER 31st at MIDNIGHT, PST to submit entries
- Voting will take place in the Community Projects forum starting November 1st, whenever I get my ass out of bed and in front of the computer.
- The winner gets something (if you'd like to contribute a prize PM me and we'll talk)
- If you have any suggestions feel free to bitch at me in the comments below

AND GO

In order to cut down on cheating, it would be a good idea to have to include your forum username on a piece of paper in the picture.

I don't understand the reason for this.
Why couldn't we just post them in this thread?

Same reason we PM our sigs for the Sig of the Week Comp. So people don't steal ideas or anything. It's much better, trust.

I crack myself up. But seriously if I can get a hold of a pumpkin I'll carve it and send you a picture.

Why is there an apostrophe after "punkin"? The word ends in an n. This may seem trivial but it has been bothering me.

Oh, wait, you meant "Pumpkin"? Shit, I thought we were going to go around stabbing homeless and leaving their corpses in Frankie Muniz' car with hidden cameras where their eyes used to be.

On a separate note, how was everyone's Halloween? I spent it doing errands, homework, and getting a flu shot.

I have a carved pumpkin and camera but I did such a poor job that I'm too ashamed to take a picture. Sorry.

I'll be providing a 24 hour extension on the deadline if anyone has a pumpkin they want to put in. Otherwise flag wins.

I spent Halloween itself doing homework.

The previous two days, I partied.
