Very nice. I didn't take the Physics GRE, but I did get a perfect score on the math section of the general GRE. Since you did so well on the physics test, I can only assume that you did as well.

Are you going to grad school for something purely physics-related, or are you going off a little bit on a tangent?
[16:24] <@golfkid> I'm pretty sure I will literally scream if I die on the last column of 78-4 at this point
[16:25] <trance> Oh, yeah. That level.
[16:29] <@golfkid> lol

I'm not sure if I want to go into academia as a career, really. If I do I'll probably study many-body physics.

Otherwise, I'm looking at solid-state physics, which is sort of like many-body physics's sober, productive cousin, and would hopefully net me a nice job in semiconductors or solar panels. It is about time I started looking at job openings beyond the local coffee shop.

I don't know what these numbers are, but the highest test score I ever received was on a Humanities midterm, where we had to describe Socrates' worldview with a modern utopia discussed in class, and I got a hundred.

Class average was 47.

Highest score I've gotten was a 110 on a physics test on electricity... extra 10 points was because my teacher gave extra credit problems.

The highest score I ever got was when an online quiz told me I was Team Edward.

Or maybe -- just maybe -- they're mutually different from each other. :o
