I love food. I wanted to open up a post where people can talk about food. It can be anything from spices that you like too which fast food chain is the best. If you have anything relating to food, post it! Which food map is the best? Mcdonalds or Burger King? Chocolate Mousse or Creme Brulee? DO NOT START ARGUING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS. FOOD AND ITS TASTES ARE OPINION! JUST STATE YOUR BELIEVE AND GIVE YOUR REASONS. I think if people start posting their own questions, that this will work out well.
It doesn't have to be questions though for example... I have eaten snails in France, and it tasted like dirt, garlic, and butter.
In Scotland I had a little bit of hagas, and personally it sucked.

Food is just a crutch for the weak and delusional. There is no evidence that it actually exists, let alone that it has taste.Sondrigal wrote:DO NOT START ARGUING ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS. FOOD AND ITS TASTES ARE OPINION! JUST STATE YOUR BELIEVE AND GIVE YOUR REASONS.
Also, I believe you mean haggis.

I love all food. I'm trying to be a vegetarian, but I get awful cravings for meat and I have good meat tearing teeth that are going to waste.
I like Cheese a lot. Mars Milk is brilliant stuff. Sometimes I go for olives in a big way, but green ones and stuffed with something exciting like cream cheese. Jordan's country crisp is a tasty way to start the day. I made a Chicken and Bacon lasagne which broke my non-meat rule but tasted so good I didn't care. Red wine and food is awesome. Peanut butter on toast with a little Nutella on top is like easting cake for breakfast. Cake for breakfast is a great idea. I can't walk past cold leftovers and not bite them.
Hmmmm.

When you're making ramen noodles right when the noodles are done cooking, crack a couple eggs into the water so they cook like instantly, and then drain the water and add the flavor powder stuff and now you have a delicious mass of noodles with egg in and it's totally fantastic, i guarantee it.

Food is awesome. As a kid, I was very picky, so I've been trying to branch out and like more foods (and I've been slowly succeeding for about 2 years now :P). Ice cream is the only "food" that I can enjoy any flavor of.

I love cooking myself, I always invent new dishes which always taste good. I can only eat spicy food, food with no spice feels a bit bland to me, as I'm damn used to spicy food. Due to me cooking and my pickiness for food, I categorise the quality of the canteen as poor.

There is a shockingly high correlation between a history of using food and propensity to commit violent crimes.
Every serial killer who ever lived did food recreationally.

Thanks PALEMOON that sounds like a great idea.
I completely agree with atob, Nutella is a great spread for toast. (I have not tried it with peanut butter though)
Has anybody tried horse?
And I will start the discussion Beer or Wine which is better? Give reasons, and it is perfectly acceptable to say that it depends on the situation.
I think that for taste only beer is better, but if your eating a nice candle light diner, wine is the only choice that comes to mind.
Also, there are hundreds of varieties of beer and wine so you can get specific.

Beer tastes awful. Wine is better. Decent wine, that is, not glorified vinegar.

apparently horse is a delicacy in France...this thread is quite ironic to PETA's website that I was browsing through...heh. anyways, whenever my parents put those chocolate Voortman's cookies in the jar I smother them with peanut butter and top it off with Miracle Whip...so good.

I've eaten a crocodile burger once. It tastes like a cross of fish and beef.
It is, but us Corsicans eat wild boar instead.bob wrote:apparently horse is a delicacy in France

Sandvich is delicious!
On another note. I'm a real food lover. Hence why I'm studying Food Technology at Uni in September. My favourite has to be a bacon and egg sandwich though. Mmmmm...

Drinks: I love Coke, Fresh Milk, Beer and Red wine. Berry syrup is good too.
"Food": Meat. Meat and Meat. Maybe some tomatoes.
... uhm, maybe I'll elaborate more, someday, but mostly, my diet consists in meat, coke, fresh milk and yogurts, cookies and... potatoes.

Great thread dude. :D
Food = Love. My favorites are mostly italian, which includes a bunch of pastas and pizza. My fave pastas are shrimp alfredo (which kind of isn't italian, so sue me!) or good ol' spaghetti. With some bread, these are delicious. For desserts...brownie sundaes pretty much rock my world.

I had horse when I was in France. It is not a delicacy. It is a common meat that you can buy at a local butcher shop. It tastes good, but unfortunately where I live it is illegal. :( One of my favorite meats is duck. When cooked right the skin is delicious.
Even if I was underage, it's hard not to have tried beer or wine before your 21. Especially if you go to France.
Haha... actually :( If you base the age of a person by their comments..., then apparently, I need to shape up.Tsukatu wrote:Aren't you a bit young for beer?Sondrigal wrote:I personally like the wheaty taste of beer.

Ooh I love duck, they taste sooo good. It's a shame I don't eat it too much :/
Anyway, I love McDonald's and Burger King, that Big Tasty and Steakhouse... hmm hmmm!
The meat I don't actually like that much is chicken. Those dry parts kill it for me :/
But yeah, mostly, I'm all for meat and fats. Unfortunately, and without knowing the reason, my weight is lowering, me now weighing 56kg, which is bad, knowing that about 2 weeks or something ago I weighed ~60. Meh, if this continues, I might have to go to doctor or something.
