What is your favorite energy drink?

Based on these options, I chose Red Bull, bar none, though I don't drink energy drinks often.

The label had more on the bottle I purchased, and it recommended not using it if you are more than 15 pounds over wieght. I only had it once, and I drank half the bottle and it didn't do too much for me. Maybe I'll go try for the whole thing next time. I don't really drink energy drinks that often, but when I do I prefer the Monster Chaos, which is half juice.

I've always thought mountain dew had a reputation/marketing strategy as being a wimpy sugar drink, so I was really surprised when they brought these tough "do the dew!" kind of ads.

Woah really, because I was considering upgrading to cocaine. I used to have a huge resistance to caffeine but I've been away from it long enough that I don't have that resistance anymore.


I - very honestly speaking - when I was in college if I could have shot up caffeine I would have.

It does make me a little more focused though - it's mostly Vitamin B really and Vitamin B is good for that sort of thing.

Well I can't imagine it is all that good for you, but I doubt there is any specific danger in drinking this - other than with extremes I suppose.

Caffeine and other such things will cause you to metabolize faster. That's why you probably shouldn't use extreme amounts of caffeine with a lot of medication because it will make you metabolize the medicine faster than you should.

That's why alcohol and redbull (or Jager-Bombs) hit you so quickly then go away just as fast. You metabolized the alcohol very quickly and it takes its effect all at once rather than over a period of time.

Energy drinks don't have any noticable effects on me in non-lethal doses, but Sobe tastes so fucking good, I drink it for the taste.

Also, isn't Gatorade an energy drick?

Gatorade puts sodium back into your system after you've spent it all exercising. that's why you're always thirsty drinking Gatorade when not exercising.
