What's all this about people buying waffles and pancakes? I never buy them since they taste like ****. Homemade spicy waffles with cream and fruit make a real good breakfast.
But I can have pancakes for breakfast lunch or dinner, which is why they get my vote.

I make mine dinner plate sized and well over a cm thick. Drizzled in golden syrup. So nice. So so so unhealthy though :(

Pancakes. To contribute to the debate of waffles vs. pancakes in terms of readiness, I buy pancakes that you microwave for a little over a minute. I think that beats most toasters, and they're actually pretty tasty (especially the chocolate chip ones).

I microwave them for 30 seconds.... And that, is faster then you can eat them.
Well, unless you force it in there all in one piece causing you to run to the bathroom and vomit.

And thinking of it, that would take way longer then 30 seconds. Unless, of course, you eat next to your toilet.

I've seen blueberry pancakes that looked so good, that it makes hat look like old shit on the road.

I'm not saying that waffles are bad though, just not better then pancakes.

Pancakes are sickening and don't handle themselves well under the stress of too many toppings, whereas with a waffle you can put as much of your blueberry compote on top and never have to worry about if the waffle is going to get too soggy or too mushy to eat. Because of the lack of volume it resists being filled with so much extra stuff to make one sick to their stomach.

Waffles barely win. Though it's so close. It's like choosing a favorite child.

I think both are good, but pancakes are the ones that taste better with chocolate chips. That's why it's called a chocolate chip pancake. Plus you can't eat the batter for the best waffles, while you can do that for pancakes. Pancakes win by a thin margin.
