Why, exactly? If it's because you hate people who play Rock Band, two things:

1) That's incredibly stupid.
2) I am not one of those people.

I said I heard it on Rock Band, not played it. It's my brother's game. Seeing as how I actually play drums, guitar, bass, and piano, there's really no point in me playing Rock Band anyway.

I play real guitar and guitar hero. It's a fun game, and not really comparable to the real thing. When people get all elitist and anti-guitar-hero it annoys me, because they say that you should just play real guitar. But that's not an alternative, it's just another thing. Like playing call of duty and then running into a real war. Totally different.

I'm not anti-guitar hero. I just simply don't enjoy the games myself.

They could use that as army propaganda. "Pfft, playing Call of Duty? Do the real thing! Join the Army!"

Really? Because if I remember correctly, (and I do) your god had quite a few words for those he considered "fools" and none of them were kind.

Are we talking about the internet or fleshspace? Because, here on the internet, intellect is really the major thing that endears you of people.

Yeah, I am like this. Really, I don't see why it's so terrible to not like a person because they are as dumb as bricks. I like my conversations like I like my coffee: laden with Simpsons references and intellectually stimulating.

I loosely agree with this and do tend to look down on people whom I consider myself to be smarter than. There is one exception, however.
Really stupid guy.

Image

That's Jacob. He's the stupidest person I know. Like ridiculously stupid. The kind of stupid that's comparable to a puppy running into a sliding glass door over and over. But I love him. His stupidity endears him to me, and makes me feel oddly as if I need to protect him the the world at large. He's one of my best friends, despite the fact that I can never have conversations about where I think people came from or whether Obama is misguided or not with him. So yeah, intelligence is a big deal to me when I'm looking for friends, but it's not the most important thing in the world.

Unfortunately, this is true for myself too. I try not to think about it often, the reality of living in a place where the majority of people I meet make me inwardly cringe on a minute to minute basis isn't exactly a cheery one.

Heh, so am I. What does that tell you?

Also, if you don't like a band, don't buy their music. It's such a simple concept that I'm surprised some people still don't get it.

Wait...nah, not surprised.
