3 and 5 at the same time. I use them as dividers actually; & separates major items and that quasi-plus thing separates minor items.

I always use 'and' when in sentences. '+' and '&' on occasion for band names, e.g. Florence + the Machine and Belle & Sebastian.

I always write in cursive, so this is true for me. But I also agree with Kablizzy. I hate when my teachers make me write stuff.
