Cool for you. I always suck at making people quit smoking, because my speeches go something like this:

Alright dude, smoking's bad for you. Like, you'll die. A common reason why people smoke is because it makes them look cool, and... well... okay, so it does. Smoking makes you look like a badass. But seriously, would you rather have a long and boring life or a short and awesome one? Yeah, I'd go for the awesome too. But, I mean... it's a horrible, agonizing way to die. Seriously. And restaurants and places hate that you do it so they make you go outside, so you can look badass in the open. And, like, it costs immense amounts of money... to be badass. Damn, I'm sorry, it's just that smoking makes you look so friggin awesome.

Naythan, I can tell by the way you write your posts that you are trying to inject humour into the thread but if you don't have anything to actually add to the conversation, just don't post.

When I see people smoking I don't think, "badass" I think, "lung cancer."

@Hairscapades: Thank you, I will remember that in the future.

@Capt_weasle: It's always a matter of opinion, and it is society's influence that has caused my interpretation, but it's really easy to make smoking look really awesome. On the contrary, as you said, it causes lung cancer, as well as what I mentioned, in that it wastes an immense amount of green, and is very inconvenient, since many places do not allow it at all inside their buildings. The people that I know personally didn't quit because of the cancer, but because it cost such a boatload of money.

When cool people smoke, it looks cool. When old fat people smoke, it looks lame. It's a property more of the person than the smoking.

One of the main attractions of smoking to me is as an excuse to go outside and socialize when I should be working. o.~

I think "7.50 a pack". :/

Anyway, krusch, we are/were off topic, but it's a thread about cigarettes without any content in the OP. About as low as it goes.

And the title is totally misspelled, man. I mean, r is nowhere near o and k.

Why aren't you on IRC anymore, flag?

Aye aye.

Flag: good point. -_- The love you make is equal to the love you take, I suppose.
