Please allow me to break it all down so I can better illustrate my confusion.Tommy wrote:IT DOESN'Toughts wrote:SO WHY WOULD THAT MAKE IT HOTTERTommy wrote:The windchill comment was at the Winter comment in my post.
I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND
1. You say it's 50 degrees Fahrenheit in summer and 75 degrees in winter.
2. Things are ordinarily hotter in summer than in winter, so this seems odd.
3. My best guess is that you're setting a target temperature on some kind of heating/cooling apparatus.
4. But 50 degrees is really pretty cold and it seems unlikely you would cool your house to this extent.
5. And why would you make it colder in summer than in winter?
6. You go on to refer to wind chill and say that this is increasing the temperature.
7. Wind chill does not raise the apparent temperature, it reduces it.
8. Wind chill is purely perceptual and doesn't affect actual temperatures so this seems to refute my earlier guess.
9. Wind is usually found outside, so I don't quite understand how it relates to the topic at hand.
10. ???????????????????????????
