What do you want to be, when you grow up. Do you want to be a doctor, a singer-song-writer or a author. Or are you going to keep playing the game we all love and know as N?

Discuss.

And if you guys want me too I can have a list here of what people want to do in theit life!
Thanks for reading :-D - Rikaninja

I hope to be a successful artist. Spend my days saying nothing and making meaningless things drenched in egotistical self-hatred to sell for millions, then go to openings (it doesn't matter for whom) and get drunk and/or high then drift back to the loft of some chain-smoking woman with severe clothing, where we lazily rant about the futility of life before having empty sex.

Hahaha, seriously? I'm uncertain.

But probably an artist.

I've wanted to be an architect for 3+ years now, and the love for architectural designs is still growing.
That as a main career + a part time artist = The Dream of Life complete. Or a more mathematical aspect:

(Dream < 2Architect) + (Life < 1Artist) = Dream of Life <3Architect/Artist

I know, I know, complete bull, but you know what I mean ;D

My dad is an architect, and he has said many times, that he would not do it again. He's said he's worked on every type of building there is, and, he doesn't even design them anymore. You get to a certain point and you just deal with people.

Well I'm not letting that stop me. ;D
I'm sure by the time that I'm actually an architect, there would be many opportunities to design new buildings.

I'm always kind of bouncing around. I've decided that I'm definitely majoring in Computer Science, probably with a minor in Business Management.

Here's the list of things that I want to be (preferably all at the same time!):
> Computer forensics specialist
> High-tech entrepreneur (I'm already working on developing my first business, so I'm heading strongly this way).
> Software developer
> Archivist
> Photographer (preferably fine art, but I'd probably do weddings and portraits to pay the bills)
> Architect (I've always been fascinated by modern and some postmodern architecture. My favorite magazine is Dwell)
> Graphic designer
> Superhero (You never know...)
> Nuclear plant operator (It's totally my dream job. there aren't even really any qualifications - as long as you have some kind of degree, they'll train you. Turns out there's only 1-3 openings each year, though).

I'm currently going in the direction of IT and network administration but that's not a dream job. I intend to make some money out of that and then go off and do my own thing. Multiple things, in fact, which hopefully would sustain me financially. Music. A little programming and web design. Various entrepreneurial schemes. I know I'm never going to run a little café in semi-rural Switzerland, but that sounds like a nice dream.

Graphic and web design, and I desperately want to be a best-selling novelist and be able to live off my writing.

I want to animate for either a big gaming company like Blizzard or Nintendo, or for a movie company like Pixar.

All of the people who want to web designers, you should have been around when the internet was new. These days pretty much anyone can do it. There is, however, a shortage of people who can do it well.

I don't really know what I want to do in college and beyond. I love music, but don't really play anymore. I love writing, but as of now don't have the patience/time. I love filming but don't have a good camera. Perhaps one day I will combine all of my skillz and make a movie. Or write a book. Or bum money off of freeway exits.

I do psychology. One day I'll get my PhD and be henceforth known as Dr. epigone. It's a long way off though (at least 6 more years)

I'm looking to go into Engineering of some kind. If the course-load is as tough for Engineering as the reputation would have me think, I might have to take a trip to see Dr. epigone. :)

Eh, my ENTER really wasn't that good...

At any rate, I'll probably be doing biomedicine or science next year. Nothing special.

Ha. Tom Cruise is not a good example of a working actor. Acting is 10% talent and 90% luck, and Cruise hit it big time. There are plenty of actors, just like any other artist, that struggle to get by. Often they will get a night job, like waiting tables, so they can pay rent and everything. Although, many people have said I'm gifted, but I disagree- is that the key?

Striking it rich and becoming a household name is a huge fear of mine for two reasons:
— People make you out to be a crazy fuckhead
— Someone out there would pay big bucks to see film of you pooping
