New Year Resolutions.

It gonna be a new year soon. A time to start over make things better for yourself and others. So, what is your new year resolution for 2009? As for me uh... well... I guess... I'll get back to you on that. Anyways just post your new year resolution for 2009.

I'm going to be moving out just into the new year back down to where I went to Uni. This is a big move as I'm needing a job this time to support myself. So there is going to be a lot that will change. I think one thing that I will stick to is going back to the gym. Which is something I've been wanting to do for a while.

I plan to go to college this year. Seriously. That and maybe forge a relationship. That previous one seems more likely though. Imma go with that.

Get my Associates of Applied Sciences degree.
Go on a road trip with my grandfather.
Figure out some way to allow my mom to keep the rent she'll be charging me cheap, so that I can save up money for this road trip I want to go on.
Get a job to pay the rent.

I turn 18 this year, so I'm going to try to got to college, and for the love of god, get a girlfriend. I'm also going to see if I have Aspergers or not, sure, it's silly to make that a New Year resolution, but I have a knack for delaying appointments till I never go to them.

1) Get a C or higher in all classes (this is actually very difficult for me)
2) Get a National Merit Scholarship (I'm pretty sure I'm a finalist, but I don't get to find out for sure until September)
3) Take the CS160 series, so I don't have to deal with them in college.
4) Get a job (A real one that pays money, not the internships that I've been doing)
5) Get my CompTIA Network+ certification and start studying for Security+
6) Lose some weight (I could use it, I officially made became obese sometime this summer)
7) Finally buy a Theremin (a Moog Etherwave)
8) Play the piano more
And, my expansive list of software/programming languages/devices to learn:
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop better
Blender 3D
Processing (art programming language)
ContextFree (another art programming language)
Arduino programming (the Arduino is a popular microcontroller for hobby use)
Ruby on Rails (already working on this)
American DJ MyDMX (DMX light control software, my middle school drama program bought a bunch of DMX controllers and I want to learn the PC software, since it qualifies as much geekier than a traditional control console)
Guitar (I will qualify this as a device. I have one, but I haven't the faintest idea how to play it.)
ModPlug Tracker (tracker-style software sampler/synthesizer)
FontForge (font editor)
Java programming language (I hate it, but I'll need it in college)
Probably some other things that I'm not thinking of.

-Know and meet more and more and more alternative musics

-Have a birthday
-Calm Down
-Be more active
