i doubt im the only one who's dad thinks its a waste of time.

My dad likes it for the creativeness, but nothing after that.

My parents despise it...my older sister and younger brother (formerly LNKNPRK) hate it too, and my little sister and brother don't care.

They don't know about N or Metanet.

My parents used to hate that I played N so much, but are okay with it now as long as it doesn't interfere with my other activities. They even let me submit to SUBLiME, which surprised me.

N cannot be spoken, or even thought about in my household. If my parents ever found out that I have played N since the cleansing, my life would be ruined. I keep the game in a multi-passworded .rar on a USB flash drive inside a locked boron alloy container that requires two keys to open (I keep one under the 64th hammer in my piano, and the other one in a small section of removable ceiling in the corner of the attic) hidden in a wall compartment lined with aluminium foil to prevent sonar detection behind my 375 kg cupboard, which is bolted to the floor - the only way to reach it is to abseil outside the fourth floor window and use a screwdriver to unfasten the screws holding the secret brick in place on the opposite side of the wall, but the screwdriver must be a specific type like the one I own, since if any other screwdriver comes into contact with the screws, the entire building will explode, as will a seperate charge placed inside the boron alloy container, rendering the USB useless. Even once the container is retrieved, attemping to open it without the arming pin in place (which is kept inside the battery compartment of my Maglite) will cause the water reservoirs lining the container to burst and react with the caesium lining, causing the container to burst into flames - the only way to prevent this is to use the arming pins to shut off the reservoirs with a sliding steel door. The USB itself contains an accelerometer linked to an explosive charge, meaning that if the USB detects its own movement speed as being greater than 5 cm/s, it will explode - any person attempting to steal it would have to move at a uselessly slow speed. Once plugged into a computer, the USB will upload a ghost virus onto it, leaving no traces. Only the right password can deactivate this virus, and if it is left on the computer for more than six hours, it will format all drives.

As you can see, I take my N playing very seriously.

LOL. My mum knows about it. She doesn't mind it but every know and again she turns on it. By dad doesn't know about N or anything, just that I play some freaking comp stuff wasting me eyes on this crap for nothing when I have "better" things to do.

My dad once came and sat down and watched me play.
He said "Ooh" as I died.

And now he thinks I spend too much time on it.

My dad thinks that I fail because whenever he is around, I die a lot easier when someone is watching. He therefore thinks I should go back to studying because I have good grades and I don't fail as much in school as I do when he is watching me play N.

Actually, he has already prevented 65.9 forest fires within the last 2 years.

Oh, my parents don't like it and think it's a waste of time.

No one has any idea about it in my family, Exept my uncle who thinks its interesting when building maps and stuff lol

My rents don't know about it, they have no appreciation for the fine modern art of computer games.

All N related stuff aside, this is quite fun. Although i'd recommend AT LEAST the seventh floor window.

I personally love it, i guess if they spent as much time on it as me then they would feel the same

me too.

They know about it, but don't give it much thought, unless I'm almost in tears about some poorly designed metanet level, in which case they tell me to take a break.

i get sad thoughtful, but tears?

My dad hates all video games and hates N as well. He is anti-videogame and that's why I have no consoles.

My parents really don't mind it; they actually like to watch me make levels. My mom even told me to change a tile one time because it was out of place XD
