Thought this up when I was in Cambridge the other day. Just post anything which has inspired you lately (whether it's been for mapping, for music, anything) or something that you think will inspire someone else. My inspiration for this thread was a neat MacBook in the new Apple shop at Grand Arcade, where the buildings and architectuire are really inspiring to me. What inspired you?

I was recently, and still am inspired to write a book.
I had this in mind for quite a while, but I just got a blast of inspiration after reading Airborn and Skybreaker by Kenneth Oppel.

Dave, or blue_tetris as we all know him inspired me to not to go off on people. I haven't done anything crazy ever since. I also credit Luminaflare.

I was reading a psp mag, reading about FFI anniversary edition. There was a bit about Square almost going bankrupt before making the game, leading to the name Final Fantasy, but then the game saved their asses. The title of the little bit of info was: First Reality. I took that as a name for my game and book. I'm making progress in the book, not so much in the game ideas.

The song Seperate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey inspired me to love again.
Also, John Hurt, for proving that it's never to late to grow an awesome mustache.
