I use Bic pens. Exclusively.
On a side note, this is my first visit to the forums since Dec 7...

I can only use one kind of pen. Unfortunately, I don't remember what they're called and I don't have one on me. I know they're ballpoints...

I have a Pilot Precision Grip Extra Fine right now. I rather like it. I have a box of similar pens at home. I also rather like the Tul pens that Office Depot is carrying now.

I like Papermate / Bic, but I'm fine with anything.

Uniball's my brand of choice, but they're pretty darn expensive down here. I recently got myself a Bic Smoothie, and I'm rather liking it (the design, decent ink). It's really the first good ballpoint they've made.

I am doing this immediately.
I may chronicle my adventures.

Seriously, as soon as I hit Submit on this post, I'm getting into my car and driving to the local Staples. Let's do this.

My favorite kind of pen is the one I haven't lost yet. It changes every day or so. Sometimes I'll clean my desk and the changes will be temporarily undone. Funny, that.

Honestly, I only use the kinds of pens they give out in hotels. I love the DoubleTree ones, but I ran out and now I'm using a Hilton Inn.

I'm not entirely sure what kind they are, but that's where I find them :/

The Suki Pen Chronicles

I wasn't lying earlier when I said I'm making that pen right now.
And now I'm back. It's all done, and it works bee-eau-tifully. I'm honestly so happy, I could shit a kitten.

I have indeed decided to chronicle my adventures.
Out of courtesy for our members with low-bandwidth connections, I've linked to all the images instead of placing them inline.
(All images were taken with my T-Mobile G1 phone. Most of them are pretty blurry.)

As soon as I hit Submit and lock my computer, I put on my shoes, grab my keys... and the journey begins!

There are but two traffic lights between me and my local Staples, and the first is agonizing enough that I have time to fish out my phone and take a picture (also pictured: my watch) before the light turns green.

A few minutes later, I arrive at Staples.

I'm not here dickin' around; I'm on a goddamned mission. Having worked in this Staples for a year and a half before my current job, I find the Pen aisle instantly.

Panic sets in -- there are more G2's than expected. Even though the plastic G2's that come in bulk are less expensive, I decide to go big or go home. I take the fancy-lookin' one in the top left. Payday's tomorrow, anyway.

I grow increasingly disheartened when I can't find any Mont Blanc pens or refills after half a minute of searching, but I eventually find them hiding behind a swiveling refill doodad.

A quick comparison with the G2 refills shows that they're roughly the same length and girth.

I'm pumped as I leave the Staples. This is gonna be awesome.

I almost blow past the stop sign out of the plaza. I can't wait to get home and put this bitch together. Ain't nothing in the world can stop me n-- ooh, a Starbucks!

"Venti chai latte, plox..."
Awesome.

So I get home and unload, and almost immediately I run into a problem: I can't figure out how to take the pen apart. LV's instructions recommend enlisting the help of a 5-year old. Closest I have is a 13-year old sister... whatever, thirteen is basically five. I pull her in, and she's all too happy to see me.
I politely ask her assistance...
...and she's eager to please.
And so the pen is disassembled.
e_e

So now I have all the requisite parts and tools.
The Mont Blanc refill is, in fact, just a tiny bit too long. I can't get it into the G2 without some minor surgery.
But once that's done...
...I have a $200 pen!

And like I said, it works fantastically. This'll be my favorite pen forever... or until I lose it, whichever comes first.

*takes a bow*

(Special thanks to my sister, or whatever.)

Verily.
And I'd like to suggest that those other members with hot sisters also post their pictures on the forum.
