What do you mean by fast reply? I have absolutely no idea what that means. Has it got to do with spamming faster?

If you were on the old forums, below the page you would see a button that will give you the fast reply menu. You just had to type your message there and post it from the page, instead of posting from a normal 'Post A Reply' page.

Personally, I think we can do fine without smileys. They don't add to conversation, and text smileys work just as fine (and are non-obtrusive).
