Help Me Name a Society
Posted: 2009.03.31 (08:34)
Okay peoples there's this little competition running at my university, and I'm hoping you can help me win it :)
The newly formed Geographical Society (which I'm a part of) needs a proper name. It is currently called GeogSoc, but that is like a default sorta name for societies (like Ensoc, Lawsoc, Rocksoc, Debsoc. . .you get the picture). The competition is to come up with a proper name. If I win, I get "a nice (and yes I mean nice!) bottle of wine".
This is where you can come in.
If you suggest a name for it and I like it (hopefully I'll be submitting a pile of names) I'll be really happy, probably give you a dedication and the what-not. If your name is the one which wins. . .well, it'll be huge.
So, any idea for a new name for the University of Canterbury Students' Geographical Society will be greatly appreciated
thanks
PS: This competition (at uni) is only open to members. Since the club is new, it has a small number of members, means high chance of winning.
