Or, which fingers do you use to count to three?

Pinky, middle, and thumb.

Thumb, Index, Middle.

I've always used the middle three.

I actually any of the three possible combinations where all fingers used are adjacent, depending on context and how drunk I am. I'd say I use the middle three most oftenly, though.

Sometimes I go middle, ring, pinky. Usually, though, I just use index, middle, ring.

Though now that I think about it, using the thumb instead of the ring finger is easier.

I can't believe the number of people going index, middle, ring. Am I really in the minority for finding that combination rather awkward?

I use index/middle/ring. thumb/index/middle

I learned this way -- the first time I saw a thumb - index - middle was probably on television.


This leads to another interesting question... how do you do a 4? thumb to ring or pinky to pointer? Of course, following the indexmiddlering logic, I use the latest, "pinkointer"
