Interesting... I was reading some Fundies Say The Darndest Things quotes just last night. One of the more amusing entries was a rant about how gravity couldn't possibly be true because humans don't orbit mountains, and how the author has been to places on the other side of the world and seen that everything isn't hanging upside-down. I also vaguely remember some claim about the moon and sun being a few thousand kilometers away and no more than 32 kilometers across.

Why say this now when it's been proven that the Earth is round by space travel...
Some people really are barmy aren't they?

Hell, the Greeks proved it by putting two sticks in the ground, and they got a pretty damned good estimate of the Earth's radius in the process.

Hehe, last year I received a pamphlet in the mail from these folk. I think I kept it just for its value in humor.

A quote from yours truly, years ago:
"Idaho. More like LIEdaho."
We used to troll that site like none other.

Wait, what!? That is so bizarre. I was roaming around the Flat Earth Society forums not two days ago, marvelling at how fantastically frustrating the place is.
