The Coke issue

Let's suppose you are in front of your pc/game console, doing stuff you like, and you will be there for the whole afternoon, and you have some cookies and a 2L bottle of coke.
How much Coke will you drink? What is the quantity of coke that you think it's reasonable to drink?
I myself drink a lot of coke, up to 2L in under 45 mins, which I think it's a pretty big amount of coke.

I can live without it, I mostly drink water. Getting out of the house just to go and buy something to drink, with having water that's available 24 hours per day is just not working for me.
However, when I have some coke I won't drink more than half a liter in the whole day.

Coke? No.
Mountain Dew? Yes. That stuff is great.

Don't you have to go up a mountain?

Heh, 29403.
I've found myself drinking less and less soda as I grow older. It's rare that I'll drink more than two cups and most of the time I don't drink any at all.

Pretty much the only time I'll drink any soda other than Mountain Dew it's when it's mixed with some type of alcohol. As I've said before, I'd much rather crack open a bottle of beer. And if it's a caffeine injection that I seek, I brew up some coffee.

2L of Coke? Not enough.
Trust me, a 2L bottle will not last me more than about half an hour. Possibly 45 minutes if I'm engrossed in a game.

I wouldn't drink Coke with cookies.

I like Coke more than water.
And I could fill up all of my stomach with Coke, and enjoy it till the end, without getting upset what I've done.
Did I said I like Coke?

I drink about 2 cups and my teeth start to dissolve. Then I switch to water.

I like coke but I usually drink it with food or when I'm very thirsty. I drink about 12 oz/355 ml (the standard can size) a day, and I sometimes don't even have any on any given day. I'm not addicted to it but I would be upset if I couldn't drink it for a while.

I drink soda very rarely, so it's highly unlikely that I'll ever actually have a bottle of Coke near my desk, but in the circumstances you mentioned, I would drain the entire thing under an hour.
When I'm bullshitting around on my computer, everything potentially edible or potable around me is fair game. I think I have some pretty healthy eating habits otherwise, but if you put three days worth of snacks near me when I'm gaming, they'll all be gone in a few hours.

I don't drink coke. Fanta and A&W are my favorites.
I tend to drink way too quickly, so that 2L bottle would disappear in 10 minutes tops.

I've found that I can drink about as much soda as my body can hold, as long as I drink about the same amount of water at the same time.
As for the cookies, about half of them.

You do this too?
I feel relieved now.

I can't drink soda fast; I just can't. A can takes anywhere from 10-40 minutes for me.
A normal size bottle of root beer, probably about 20-50 minutes.
Yes, I am slow.

i drink water all the time. a 600-mL bottle at lunch, and a 750-mL (glass) bottle every night on the video games. but i don't drink soda. water, and occasionally pure lime juice, is my substitute for soda.

I go through about a can or two of Coke an hour if available, about half that speed if it's 50-50 Velvet.

My liquid diet consists of water, milk, and Juicy Juice.
I almost never drink soda, unless I'm at a party or some similar special occasion (which is not very often at all). Something about it just seems too... unnatural, I suppose, for my tastes. I am as pure as can be!

What he said. Although I generally limit myself to a max of a couple cans worth a day (24oz roughly).

I probably would drink a cup or two. Maybe.

None. I only drink soft drink if I'm eating out, it's a special occasion, or it's mixed with alcohol.
Pretending for the sake of argument that I would drink coke in that situation, I'd probably go through 500-600 ml an hour.

Soda used to be a special treat for me when I ate out with my family because the only soda we had around the house was Diet Coke and Diet Caffeine Free Coke (both I actually like now because I grew up with them); however, I get free use of the soda machine at work so I drink water when I'm not working (and I only work two days out of the week momentarily). Although if I did have a 2L bottle, I would just pour myself a glass and put the thing back in the fridge. On a side note, when I can I like to get my coke in a
glass bottle, because drinking soda from a glass bottle is better than from a can. I can't quite pinpoint why, but it just makes for a more enjoyable experience.
