I don't know if you guys have heard about this yet, but...
Billy Mays, the 50-year old (in)famous OxyClean advertiser was found dead in his Tampa Bay home today. I heard they are going to perform an autopsy to figure out how he died, so no word yet on how this happened.
Wow, 4 famous people dead in the last week. o__O
Weird, eh?

I was really disappointed when I heard this on the news. No matter how annoying his voice got sometimes, he didn't deserve to die. But I guess, it happens. Hopefully vince won't die anytime soon.
I thought this was morbidly funny...kind of.
"Come to my funeral, and you will get not one, but two sets of oxi clean!!"
XP
Sorry folks, that was mean.

I live in Tampa Bay. I remember watching the local news when he was giving an interview about the hard landing the plane he was on took (apparently the front tire of the landing gear popped). He said something fell from above him and hit his head.
And (in)famous? I loved Billy Mays and his voice ;_;

He seemed like a nice guy and all. Just got a little annoyed hearing his voice 4 times a day. (^_^')

This is depressing. If Kevin Spacey dies next, I'm never coming on the internet again.

Good thinking. Why answer my question when you can be cool and tell me how stupid it is?

If it's a serious question, there's this thing called google. If it's not, it's spam. Either way, it's a stupid question.

What's wrong with spam? People seem to love it around here. Anyway, its not like my comment had no meaning. Its a simple question with a simple answer that i expected someone to answer and not make a big deal out of.

The week that Steve Irwin died, 4 famous people and a Today Tonight reporter died. I remember Peter Brock was one...but I don't quite recall the others. :/

The reactions to your question show that we
don't love spam (at least most of us don't). Your comment asks other forumers to put effort into figuring out and typing what you could've found out yourself through a simple Wikipedia or Google search, which is why people are making a big deal out of it.
As for the actual topic, I never really knew Billy Mays before his death, but I recognized his voice when watching Youtube videos with him. So many deaths recently... weird.

Well, all I can say is I'm impressed with his commitment to selling a product. In case you didn't know, he recently was selling life insurance.

Life insurance was the last thing he sold on the air, actually. His wife took out a large policy just weeks before he passed away.
Cigarette smoke hangs in the air of the living room in the Mays ranch-style home. No stains or signs of tumult can be seen. The room is as pristine as the day before, not a single piece of furniture shifted even an inch from its silhouette on the soft carpet.
"It... doesn't add up," the Inspector replies, palming the coin he'd be flipping as he entered the scene of the crime, "The man had it all. Fame, glory, prestige, and something greater still--an honest and optimistic view of selling; a patent love for his craft and his products."
"He was a legend, sir. There's no doubt about that," the constable nods as his eyes remain wide and vacant, his head swimming with thoughts of how his commercials might run from here on out. They didn't look good, to the mind's eye.
"Well?" the Inspector said, "We should get started here." The Inspector needs your help on this case.
The wife, nearly inconsolable, is ouside in the comfortable police wagon being tended to by paramedics. A therapist has been brought along to help her cope and ensure she remains calm as the Inspector works. You could speak with her.
The living room is in great condition. Along the north wall, a plastic-covered sofa faces southerly towards an entertainment center. Along the west wall, there is a general table, surrounded by plants, in the light of a bay window. The western region of the room is hung with opulent paintings, most of which are abstract, notably a Kandinsky's "Composition VII". In the eastern portion of the room, several chairs and divans sit near an open bar, bottles of every vintage stowed discretely behind it below eyeshot. At the south of the room, the entertainment center, an old-timey radio, and a collection of media on shelves and bookcases. The media looks largely undisturbed.
In the rest of the home there is a kitchen, a master bedroom, two guest rooms, a parlour, a master bath, a study, a dancehall, and a basement yet to be explored. The Inspector asks you to stick closely by him in the living room, but has given you permission to roam about the manor if you get any good ideas. In truth, you think the Inspector will only be slowing you down on this case!
What do you do?
