I love Target. Walmart always gives me this strange feeling I'm being stalked by homeless people and/or deranged old people.

Correct for so many reasons.

I've never set foot in a Walmart. There are simply none around where I live.

I set foot in a Wal-Mart once, and I am never going there again. I swear.

WalMart kind of scares me. They're huge and staffed by the strangest people.
When I feel the need to visit a brick-and-mortar clothing store, I'm known to go to Target. it's cheap and convenient.

I like Walmart.
Even though Walmart is an evil corporation, but Target is not a corporation at all--it's just, like, a business or a store or something? I dunno how that works. Either way, like, you should spend your money at Walmart? Because it's evil? And hurts children and stuff?

ironic lifting-inflection symbol to put at the end of sentences*

I've never heard of Target before, I guess that means that I think Walmart is better

I'm surprised at how many people hate/are creeped out by Wal-Mart o_O
I go to Wal-Mart at least once a week, and I've never had any problems with anything.

I live a five minute walk from a massive ASDA superstore. It's
part of the walmart family, so I guess I'll go with that.
I don't have a problem, it's cheap and convenient.

There's an excellent documentary that highlights all that is wrong with Wal-Mart...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wal-Mart:_ ... _Low_Price
I personally don't like them because they came into my community/area and built four giant stores with fifteen-acre parking lots and no trees. They're ugly as hell, despite having enough money to do something right with the looks of their stores. Plus they don't sell much that's actually useful. Far better to go to actual specialty stores, if you want something like... a fishing rod, for example. I grant you that they sell barbeque chips cheaply by the ton, and all the cheapest brands of bread and stuff, but I would never eat anything from there, not when we have grocery stores for the purpose.
Ironically, my eye doctor is based there, so my family spends a lot of money there every year for contacts and such. :(

<Tanner> Borealis, you just don't like Walmart because it's pop.
<Borealis> Yes. That is why.
<Borealis> If there was a post-Walmart, I'd be there.

Target is usually where I buy my CDs, game, etc. Wal-mart is good too. They have some great deals there at times.

like isaacx, I live in Canada, where Target does not virtually exist. I have been ot the states though, and from my experience Target blows Wal-Mart out of the water.

I have no clue what a walmart or target is...
Tesco. Morrisons. Sainsbury's. Or ASDA. For food.
TK-Max. JJB. JD. Littlewoods. For clothes.

Wal Mart is closer for me than Target, but Target has a better DVD/Music selection than Wal Mart. Mine mostly has Latino CDs for some reason. =/
I don't prefer one over the other though... kind of. I guess Wal Mart is cheaper by a few cents. =/

Wal-mart for me.
Mine has plenty of books to read while you wait for your mom to finish shopping.
And there is a Gamestop right outside.
