My mom forcifully hit my bum in the grocery store when I was little because I was being a whiney punk. An old man saw her do it and told her, "I'll stand up for you if you go to court for that. Parental abuse, that was."

A little sidenote, I had a particularly violent teacher from the 1st to the 4th year. The last one of the violent ones. She punished us for not doing homework and stuff (with a wooden ruler, that was burnt someday in the 4th year, hehe), but it was seriously fair, to me. I trully think that method should come back to the primary years (1st to 4th).

But yeah, when I talk about it to someone, they get all "WAT? YOUR TEACHER USED A WOODEN RULER TO BEAT ON YOU? THAT'S A FUCKING SCANDAL BLABLABLA TELL THE COPS BLABLABLA).

I surely was. Still am, but rarely. A bizarre punishment was forcing me to eat raw chicken skin. If I threw food in the bin, I would get my ear pulled real hard and was forced to eat it out of there. Never now, I've learnt my lesson. :P

In Kindergarten, or Grade 0, or whatever, our french teacher beat us with a ruler. I had forgotten, but my French was awful and I got serious lashings.

just the other day while I was driving my dad was yelling at me because I kept turning onto the wrong street or stopping at green lights because he wouldn't stop yapping while I was driving, which hindered my concentration (also, I just started driving like 3 weeks ago). yeah, although I wasn't physically abused very often as a child, my dad often scared the lving shit outta me by yelling or threatening me. most of time it's because I mouth off or when I try to explain something that he will never understand. one thing that continues to irk me about his attitude, is these certain questions he asks, like today for instance, he asked if I spoke to my English teacher today. I said "well, I had her all morning but-" where he cuts me off and yells "THAT WASN'T MY QUESTION".

when I was a little kid, like in grade 1, I hung around this guy who was a very bad influence (he once prompted me to throw rocks at a neighbor who was Indian, for that reason alone). he taught me the basic swear words and how to use the finger. so one day at the dinner table I was tired of hearing him lecture me (mind you, I was like 6 years old) so I stuck it up right in his face. needless to say, it was probably the greatest moment of my life.
