My immediate temptation is to download all of these, stick them in a playlist, and seclude myself in a room doing antisocial nerd things with this playing in the background, after which I'll bide my time hoping that random people stop by and ask me what the shit I'm listening to.

Argh. Thank you for linking that, I just lost a whole hour of my life reading some of the most fascinating shit I've ever seen. Amazing blog.

Anyway, these sounds are great! The knowledge that they come from space makes them interesting to listen to even though I have no idea what they mean.

That is absolutely amazing. I can imagine myself as a crazy 70-year old hermit sitting at a terminal with speakers blaring some filtered representation of the things I'm doing as I do them.
Although some parts of the clips he posted sound distinctly like a Nintendo game.
