I was browsing some kind of legal / open-source / public domain torrenting site, and one of the items was a CD with binaural beats.
I tried it a few times, and best I got was a headache. Conventional dreaming is more trippy than that nonsense.

Woah man. Woah.
I just tried that. It's what I'd imagine doing drugs would be like.
I feel really trippy now.

Ahh, that hurt. That was the weirdest thing i've ever done, and i'm never doing it again. I have a headache now, and I have a party to go to later. :3

Are there more of those you could direct me towards, and/or could you tell me where you got it originally? I seem to be the only person who genuinly enjoyed self hypnosis so far...

I tried to listen to the file but the accent was too funny.

They couldn't like... control you, and make you burn down your house or anything, right?
My parents would not accept 'I was hypnotised over the internet' as an excuse.

Only if you wanted to, Hypnotism is suggestions and can only make you do things you might have done in the first place, so if it's not something you'd normally do (Or ever do) in theory they can't make you do it.

Binaurals are pretty relaxing, I think. Never gave me a headache, either.

Banned? Why on Earth would a self-hypnosis video be banned?
Oh, tried the link in the OP and I totally failed to auto-hypnotize. Maybe there was still some tiny critical part of me thinking it was all ridiculous or something.

Because it works too well. Spooky.

Of course there was.

To calm you down? Give you some introspection? Yeah, man, that's some dangerous shit right there. It ought to be regulated.
Anyone ever wonder why demon summoning isn't illegal? Cuz it's for a related reason.

I tried binaural beats once, before I started smoking weed. Conclusion: binaural beats are a waste of time. They were more of a waste of time once I had something to compare them to. If you're looking for a legal way to relax, you can buy kava at the store. Or just, like, breathe more slowly. Don't waste your time listening to a washing machine.
I've tried both self-hypnosis and erotic hypnosis. I can't get into them. As Suki said, average dreams are way better.

That file is too long for me to listen too. I'm gonna go beat up the dog.
