You've gotta love the BBC's fearmongering over here. Wake up, and BBC Breakfast has 'GLOBAL FINANICAL CRISIS' in big red letters, and a plummeting graph. 'Tis hilarious.

Gas prices in Oregon have finally tipped below US$3.00 per gallon. apparently crude prices are plummeting fast enough that OPEC is asking has told member countries to reduce crude exports by 1.5m barrels per day to try to shore up prices, but it hasn't worked - crude prices are still down 5% to US$64.15 a barrel (as of market close Friday).

Gas prices in Canada dropped a lot.
It's been probably a couple of years before it is below a dollar for a litre, which it is now.
And it'll just take a bit then everything will stabilize again.

It dropped about $1.25 in 2 weeks by me. It is now about $2.55 per gallon.

Prices in San Jose are no longer above $4 for premium!

Well, cheapest gas I've seen here lately was $3.09. SoCal Bay Area tends to be above the national average for gas. A sigh of relief, considering the recent $3.85 /gal.

Screw gas, I'm going electrical.
