How do ya'll feel bout it, personally as long as her nephew's status wasn't taken into account during her immigration. Oh, also, if you remember me, Hi : ]

For those (myself included) who are unfamiliar with the topic, could you elaborate as to what's going on? An article, etc.

If I recall correctly it has something to do with Obama's aunt getting preferential treatment over other immigrants (at least, the controversy is that that was /possible/). I remember my stance on this was "No way Obama will risk his integrity as a polition by allowing preferential treatment to his Aunt".

So that shows what I know. :/

Pretty accurate, sadly. Politicians these days are more selfish than ever which is why I try not to get involved into political discussions. Oops.

Once we confirm there is extraterrestrial life, we'll create a totalitarian *world*. Because there's nothing living close to us, so if we were to actually find out there were aliens, they either knew about us and meant to start war, or massively screwed up their own plans.

People always say that but I doubt it's true. Politicians have always been selfish and presidents in particular have always tried to extend their power through means of dubious legality.

I don't understand why this is an issue. Of course she was got preferential treatment. It just so happens she was closely related to the President of the United States of America. Isn't special treatment of the President's family kinda the idea behind putting a security detail on his children? I think that his aunt should certainly be allowed to live in the same country.
