I was eating lunch with friends and flirting and stuff. And now I feel bad because of it. ;-;

I was completely unaffected by Gary Coleman's death. I have no idea where I was, and I don't care.

I know I'll never forget where I was when Gary F. Coleman crashed into the World Trade Center.

At first I was like, "Did he suffer from several different strokes? Were doctors in short supply?"
Then I was like, "Wait, who is Gary Coleman?"

My answer to the question in the subject:
For the most part, I wasn't even alive for the majority of the time that Gary Coleman. But then I was born, lived for a bit over five years in Moscow, flew to California, bounced back and forth between Russia and the U.S. a few times, and ended up staying in the US for increasingly longer periods of time, all while Gary Coleman.
I was commuting back and forth between my hometown and Santa Cruz toward the end of that time, so I was probably in Santa Cruz by the time that not Gary Coleman anymore.

Me and a few friends just appreciated his work. Not heaps, but it's still sad to hear about someone who made things you liked dying.

Holy shit. Gary Coleman was in the same state as me when he died.

In the car. They interrupted some crappy talk show with the breaking news of his death. I was just like, "Damn." Then I texted a friend about it and he asked me who Gary Coleman was.

When Gary Coleman I was.
