I don't really even bother reading names unless I don't recognize an avatar, so definite yes.

Avatars and sigs make this place a lot more colourful and personal and fun.

And I also have a modern browser/broadband configuration.

I do, some of you have really neat stuff for avatars/sigs.

I recognize most of the people by their avatars. I don't need to read names.

Except when things like Beiber Probation or Skyline dancing/talking happen.

Wait, I'm confused. Is it incluye or hairscapades (or slappy?) who uses mac? Because I use Chrome sometimes on Windows and it works fine.

Chrome is possibly the least secure browser in the world, not because people can't crack it, but because it sends all that helpful little info to Google. Who we all know is great at keeping secrets.

No no, you are paranoid. What exactly is some company going to do with your browsing history? Supply you with better focused ads? I'm terrified.

As for a better browser, Chrome wins hands down in every speed metric I've tried, it might be lacking FF in extensions by a bit, but even that is catching up.

Idiocy certainly is.

If you have such a problem with the way Chrome works, you could always download the source, modify and recompile it since it's open-source. Personally, I don't really care if Google knows that I spent four hours on titsthatjiggleabit.com yesterday.

Avatars add character to the person I'm looking at. Otherwise I'm just seeing a bunch of text next to a name.
