See, I agree that hate is more fun than love- when you're the one hating. The one you're hating on probably doesn't think so. With love, it goes both ways. Most of the time.

Is hate underrated? I think it's misunderstood to be sure. It surely isn't the opposite of love, as some would have you believe. Indifference is the opposite of love. I posit that indifference is underrated.

You know that's the first thing I thought when I read this. Back on topic, I think that bravery is overrated. Also, I think indifference is wonderful until you end up ignoring important issues.

I was starting to think along the lines of hate being underrated, but then 9! had to open his mouth and now I see that idea in a different light.

No one is offering you their hate; they probably want to either hold on to it or make it go away.

I'd say love has a higher net value than hate, but hate can also have it's merits. Both of their enjoyment factors are fairly context-sensitive though. Unrequited love is a good way to have no fun at all.
