Paul Newman died yesterday of cancer at age 83. http://www.imdb.com/news/ni0574069/

He was always one of my favourite actors, and he did several great things for the world with his charity work. I wish he can rest in peace and be remembered by the world.

Lots of celebrities are dying this year. Anyway, I never saw any of his movies (how uncultured of me), but I did see him racing once at a track last year! That was cool.

Same here, I haven't seen any of his movies, but I have seen him at the supermarket.

Hmm. With all these deaths it seems pertinent to have a topic to keep track all of them and then discuss them accordingly.

ACTING SPECIES FACING GENOCIDE
The acting species (Homo Facio) is facing a genocide this year. Celebrities, most notably actors are dying at a rate faster than they are reproducing. Experts are consulting the Mayan Calendar for more information.
