Just some things we already knew. Opera represent!

The results correlate suspiciously well with the usage share of the browsers in question. Plus, I was once professionally assessed to have a IQ around 160 and I use Fx because it's the best. I deem the study invalid.

In related news, did you know that Opera is actually the most popular browser in Ukraine? Blue is IE, orange is Firefox, green is Chrome, red is Opera:

However the full report does show that those with the highest IQs have Firefox as their most popular browser. It's just all those people with medium-to-low IQs that use Firefox that drag the average down. The unmistakable decrease in IE users with increasing IQ is startling though.

Also, this was pretty much bound to happen: http://www.aptiquant.com/news/aptiquant ... rer-users/

Yeah, all you dumbasses need to stop using Firefox. Go back to Netscape!

I'm shocked that Safari came in higher than Firefox and Chrome. The majority of Safari users are on Macs, and if they're so smart, then why are they using Macs?

Mac = Unix-based + better game support than Linux. Safari is also a great choice for web developers because it allows you to switch user agents on the fly.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you think you know shit but you don't know shit, uh huh.

It's not that there are lame Firefox users hurting the average - the browser houses geniuses and misunderstood geniuses that just seem lame to the naked eye. As an example, myself and maestro fit into these two categories respectively.

Let it be known I was using Opera long before everyone else was.

I'm having a little trouble imagining IQ's in the 80's as capable of using the internet.
...by which I don't mean to implicitly affirm that IQ is a sensible measure of intelligence.

Windows = NT-based + better overall support than Macs.

Not to mention all of those choices have browsers for every OS.

I suspect that the low IQ's for IE users relates to the fact that the dumber you are, the less likely you are to know how to change your browser in the first place.

I only use IE to download other browsers.

What, exactly, is the point you're trying to make here?

Indeed. I was professionally assessed to have an IQ of 147. This is the single best argument against IQ as a valid intelligence test.

He's justifying his use of IE.

There is no possible way to do that.
