Yeah. My forum, [White Water Graphics is doing, well, not good. Not good at all.

I need suggestions on what to change or improve. Or tips on getting word out about it. Anything. I've got posted tutorials linked on tutorial sites high up on google, I got it's link in my signature on a bunch of forums, I've advertised(yes, advertised) but I still only have 252 members with pathetic activity.

Any help at all will be appreciated.

Well your design seems great, really appealing, I don't think that's really a problem at all.
You say 252 members isn't that great, but that's actually a great number, considering they joined due to the fact that the forum had their interest at one point.

I'd only recommend looking for members on sites such as DeviantArt, or any other art website.

But I really don't think the forums need changing, just better publicising.

Well, the publicising is the hard part. Advertising forums have all but died. they didn't help much when they were alive, though. The biggest problem with getting clicks is the URL. The provider may be a good one, but it's drawback, as you see, is the URL you practically need to study just to remember. I tried getting domains, but they are kinda crumby in how they work.

I'd buy a domain, but when I tried that, they didn't explain something that shoulda been in the contract, and they sold me the wrong domain. I canceled that. But there is a GIMP tutorial site that wants to affiliate in me being the forum, and him being the site. Kinda like the old Metanet and NUMA. Except that i get a free redirect domain.

But until we get that worked out, most of the new members are porn avertising spam bots.

http://wwg.therealn.com points to your site now, if that helps with the long domain issue. As for gaining traffic, you need a good webcomic or a game like a Space Pimp, or possibly a thread where you can only type 'cocks'.
