if you had forever to solve a long, streinous, confusing, written problem, would you get it done? would you procrastinate forever?

consequently, if you could pause and unpause time whenever you wanted, dare i ask, how would you take advantage of that?

anyway, if i had forever to do something, anything, i'd just plain not do it. i would take advantage of the opportunity and continue building my mind up. it would be an opportunity of literally infinite potential.

I certainly would never miss out on any opportunities. I'd get extra sleep when needed, prepare some of my more important sentences, and plan a little more in advance. Basically, I'd seem even more spontaneous than I already am by turning my more lagging periods of mental planning into rapid-fire actions.

if I could pause and unpause time, I would use it when I need to find something important out, but not for a long time (think about it, I'm 14 a second, and for you, the next second, I'm like 17).


note: by important, I mean stuff for a test I'm taking, coping homework I didn't "understand" etc.

Pfft...I procrastinate like there's no tomorrow (I literally do homework a few minutes before class starts sometimes). So, yeah, I'd procrastinate, or maybe do it very very slowly.

If I could...pause and unpause time? Ohohohoho. Ever seen the movie Click? Yeah, I'd do some stuff like that. Even more.

I would be everywhere at all times important. I procrastinate, so I would have limitless time for everything. Stopping time would be usefull for magic tricks.

But with all seriousness, I'd probably go and do something incredibly stupid, like sneak into the stock exchange, and pull the plug on the mainframe.
Or, I'd go and walk myself into a middle of a hurricane.

If i could stop/start time, i'd take peoples clothes away at the most inappropriate moments.

how paradoxical! Living forever sucks you know, but my answer to your question would probably involve a cycle of procrastination and getting things done.

id never do it, but could you reverse time?

i'd probably do that, and pull pranks, and show off, and cheat, and steal (very small, though, as the guilt would kill me) and get out of trouble, and stuff.

what??? morality is dependent on time? oh dear, that would revise my algorithms quite a bit.

i wouldn't even consider morality. it's called advancement. you build up your mind until you're near perfect, then kill yourself and prepare for an afterlife. what would you gain from doing anything sexual or silly? i don't think you would really do those things...

oh and by the way, this thread is about whether you would solve your problem immediately or whether you would procrastinate, not about how you would choose to spend an eternity if you had one.

I procrastinate when I'm tired. I imagine I'd pause time to sleep, but be up and totally energetic in real-time.

Good freakin' call.

I actually ride the "sleepy high" until I'm not sleepy anymore, so I miss nights of sleep not from business but from my frank enjoyment of that sensation. Part of why I never sleep is because I know how to rest while talking idly, keeping my eyes open, drinking, and watching Manswers. Of course, when I do crash, it's a body crash and I'm out for longer than I would've wanted.
