Maybe I'll just go to the library and pick up some intro to Javascript and PHP and Python and start coding away to my heart's content.
Also, Slappy, I think another issue is that the members who can do something either have time constraints (Arachnid, LV, sidke...) or else feel like other things are more important than sitting in a dark dungeon-like basement coding for an archiving website.

I can assure you I have sent multiple emails about my profile. I'm pretty sure I was also included in an email one of the other's sent about their profiles as well not too long ago.ortsz wrote:I've searched for all NUMA emails that contain 'amomentlikethis', and you seem to have only sent two, neither of which had anything to do with this.amomentlikethis wrote:Yes, 6 or 7 times.Manus Australis wrote:Have you ever tried emailing [email protected] ? I hear that you can get a response sometimes. I also hear that sometimes you have to email there more than once or twice to anything done. I'd start there to fix your problem with your profile, instead of complaining to the people who can't do shit about it.
Even if my emails haven't for some reason made it through to the NUMA inbox (I don't see why they wouldn't), Arachnid has posted in the Nmaps.net forum since I've posted in there about my profile.
AND it's an issue on the Nmaps.net feedback forum with 23 votes.

I have the most maps on NUMA. Barabajagal is one of many people's top 10 mapmakers, as I'm sure are some of the others who's profiles don't work. I don't mean this to sound selfish, but for those reasons this error should be a priority.
If whoever that guy who spammed 600 or so new maps that time was can have his maps deleted and get banned on the same day, I'm sure it shouldn't take this long to fix my profile.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: As I've already said, the maps nominated were all pretty dull in my opinion; and this will be the last time I post in this topic.

Whoa whoa whoa. Slow down here. The number of maps he's making isn't the problem.Kablizzy Sucks wrote:Perhaps you should just stop making so many fucking maps.
Hell, man, at least the maps are of quality, not the other stuff you commonly see on Hot Maps. So yeah, get off this thing and get back to talking about Dronies. >:(

Edit: Talked to sidke, and yes, voting should be back up now. Sorry if you lost your form!

I know I'm totally late for this, but Chrome Frame. Seriously.bobaga_fett wrote:I don't find it necessary to switch browsers. you asking me to convert is as arrogant as me asking you to reformat the site to let IE users view it properly, imo. I'm guessing neither party is going to budge, and there's no way to fix up the site before mid-January. Please gloomp, lets not go on about how everyone that is not the majority is a pack of idiots. I'll figure it out eventually and put my vote in, but for now the majority is at an inconvenience. Perhaps next year we can make everyone happy, as hard as that task may seem.xVxCrushloaderusSupremusxVx wrote:...because my idiot [parental figure] won't let me. is what you say next. Right? Right? Also, the second page of this thread is one of the worst I've ever read. You should be ashamed. You know who you are.

There should be a dronie for best contest of the year. Contests are fun and enjoyable, no matter when I'm knocked out, and having a best contest of the year award would be a cool addition to the list. =]

Thanks to everyone who participated. The counting should be really easy thanks to sidke's amazingness, and I'm considering doing things a little differently. In addition to posting the results on the forums maybe this time tomorrow, I think we'll do a live reveal of the results on Vent in about 11 to 12 hours, not unlike an awards show of some sort - be there if you can (I understand it'll be difficult for Australians).
Good luck to everyone!
Edit: Awwww, I forgot that Vent is down.
