What's the part that makes it inferior? An onscreen button pad would work fine since the iPad is multitouch.ghoulash wrote:Doesn't have to be. 1) It might -- might -- match the capabilities of a desktop, but it would never surpass them.
2) All my experience with laptop mice says that it wouldn't be nearly as effective, helpful, or fun.
3) Never used an iPad; freely admit I probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Motherfucker, I have Doom on my iPod. Is it playable? Of course not, but that's totally beside the point.ghoulash wrote:Doesn't have to be. Laptop mice, trackpads as they're known, are nothing like the iPad/iPhone's multitouch interface. The multitouch interface is very accurate, and having a virtual D-pad could work very well.
And then make it compatible with the keyboard dock. And then its win.

what would be the point in playing an approximation of n? that would be like playing n+, and that was a horrible experience. the only viable option here is for apple to stop being retardedly lame, allow flash support, and work out an actual on-screen keyboard thats not just letters. obviously the problem is they fail miserably at the first step.

BUT NONE OF THEM ARE N ;___;Another Adobe claim is that Apple devices cannot play Flash games. This is true. Fortunately, there are over 50,000 games and entertainment titles on the App Store, and many of them are free.

There is now a free app on the app store called Cloud Browse. Kudos to them for beating Apple too flash. You might be able to play n on some of those flash websites, I haven't tried yet.
