I presume everyone uses the irc subdomain, though you've never needed to.

Edit: apparently polls don't really work on the new forums so I guess use your words and tell us in a reply.

I was thinking you meant client-wise. mibbit does it with irc.mountai.net but when I use ChatZilla I can just type irc://irc.mountai.net/n into the browser and it will open.

Usually the first one if I am using a client. But I use the IP address if I must telnet in.
