I've noticed that the "add a recipient" feature for composing a message has changed. It's now limited to one member per PM.

I run a group on these forums (the Map-Rating Group) that revolves around biweekly userlist PMs. It would really suck to have to have to send individual messages out.

Can this limit be undone? (or somehow bypassed for a particular member?) I mean, given Laurie's recent mass PM, I can see that perhaps some would argue for a limit on the # of recipients, but why should that limit be 1!?!? Even on the old forums it was 6. I would prefer about 10-15 myself, and, if it comes down to it, 6 is tolerable. But 1 is not.

Sorry to be the complainer, but I do have a legitimate reason.

Yes you do have Laurie to thank for this being reverted back to 1 member per PM. Apparently a mod is needed to set this to a number other that 1, so if there is already a request to change this back then I guess we will have to look into said mod.

Right, after a little discussion we have decided that mass PM's are back, though we kindly ask users not to abuse this feature by spamming peoples inboxes. Thanks.

That is, mass PMs should be sent by invitation only.
