I was really leaning towards www.metanetcadets.com but SlappyMcGee's IRC suggestion, www.droni.es , is quickly becoming my new favourite. As he said, it has that quirky sense of humour in it that really represents this community, and it is of course hugely Metanet-related. The only downside is that eventually it could be rendered somewhat irrelevant but that's sure to be a pretty long time from now.

It's really looking like that one. I'm just waiting to hear what LV thinks, but he is in Los Angeles.

Ooh, I'd definitely be in favor of www.droni.es. Nice one, Slaps.

I personally feel http://www.robotninjayeti.com rolls off the tongue better.

hm..... Can anyone check to see if metanetforums.com is avalible? I always get a "oops! This link appears to be broken from google. If it is, would that work? Because what we're looking for is a domain to the forums, right?

Yes, for the forums, and every other community project that requires a website, i.e. Memoirs, the Dronies, and such. So having "forums" in the domain isn't all that appropriate.

And ninjarobotyeti > robotninjayeti. Chronology FTW.

Definitely the nry combination, not rny. But maybe it would be better making it plural - ninjasrobotsyetis.com, for the community of ninjas, robots and yetis. :)

Eh, EdoI, the S' just bog it down. NRY's better, all the way.

metanetcadets.com is good, too.

Personally, I like http://www.forum.metanet.com - Simple and to the point. I'm also a fan of http://droni.es because it's fun and relevant. Should it become irrelevant as Metanet make more games, the name could stick as being a recognisable name, since by that point Metanet will be world-famous for their awesome.

In the end, we need to decide what we want to use it for, obviously all of TheRealN's content will be online here, should we make it so it's Tetris' site, something like www.thebluetetris.com or something?

It doesn't load, want to test it?

If someone asked you
"Hey, is there an online community for N/Robotology/Office Yeti/TNG?"
and you answered
"oh, yeah, just head on over to http://forum.thebluetetris.com/.
They wouldn't respond with
"Oh, that makes sense. I should have known!"

Excellent! I think it fits the community quite well. Can't wait to have a permanent home for the forums and such again.
