I know, guys. Give it some time, fellas. I've only submitted the two things I felt most important, and the two things I don't think will change over the next two months;

Level Pack of the Year
N Community Recognition Award

The rest, I'ma wait on.

Just to clarify, we nominate now, and then we'll vote on the top nominees at a later date, correct?

Yessir. Also, as a reminder, you guys have a little less than a month to get all of your nominations in, so get 'em in!

I think the dronies should be made on a monthly basis.
It's hard to think for a nominee in any category.
But in a monthly basis it's easier and I think it would be better for everyone.
( Well, not for the creators of it)

Maybe this is not true.

I keep maps in mind year-long. Every time I favorite a map on NUMA or play a map-pack, I think Dronies. It's probably something that comes along with being in the community and being involved with the dronies for as long as I have, but it's not that hard to browse your favorites for 2008 and pick a map. Plus, if you only play race maps - Nominate a race map. I keep a pretty extensive .txt file with just possible dronies nominations.

That would not only completely cheapen the impact of the entire thing, but also the excitement of it.

What Blizz said, too.

unless you're Life247 with 1100 favorites, with 500(ish) from 2008!

*clarification* I didn't have N so I faved any map that looked good but didn't play it. ANY MAP. I need to go through them all soon.

back on topic, when do we have to nominate and vote? and when's the last day a map can be submitted and nominated? November 30th I would assume?

Yeah, November 30th is the usual cutoff, but I would imagine we're going to want to give him a few days to compile, compile burst before December 1st, so if you can get in your nominations prior to that and not make any good maps on the 30th, that'd be great.

awesome my first dronies <3

the categories are too restrict in my opinion, there shoul be just-for-fun things too, like best holiday map, or most shocking feature or most *popular* map maker haha

man i gotta get going im gonna have a hard time thinking of good maps

we dont have to vote in ALL categories do we?

and so it goes, and so it goes, and so will you soon i suppose.

No, we don't. I didn't submit a complete voting form last year, so I suppose it'll be ok for this year too.

When I'm filling out the form, do I put links to maps, packs etc.? Or would just a name suffice?

I wish to nominate a map that is tagged both 'action' and 'puzzle' for the puzzle catergory. Is this allowed?

It doesn't really matter what the tags are. It's up to you to decide if that map is action, or puzzle. And yes, if the map is a combination of action and puzzle it is eligible to be nominated in either category.

xaelar has many NUMA runs. Many jaw-dropping NUMA runs. I chose one from an episode, but there are many deserving NUMA runs.
