Mmmmyeah. Pdfs might be the way to go. We'd just need to sort out how to share and edit these, and then we're set. Also, MOAR READABLE FONTS PL0X. I'll add yungerkid and blackson to the list.

I think I won't actually write something, or add a piece of text to the site. I just want to collect information, and let the others make it a paragraph.GTM wrote:If you can keep it readable, fine.Tunco123 wrote:Add me too.
That actually sounded like I won't do anything. :/

Actually, that's fine. Suggesting stuff we should cover when it comes up is a pretty good idea. You're in, if we get enough people.Tunco123 wrote:I think I won't actually write something, or add a piece of text to the site. I just want to collect information, and let the others make it a paragraph.

Hmm... I would have thought 8 people would be at least enough to restart the NNN. It's more likely that people will want to help if we get this rolling, and start drumming up interest.
As a note of that, I'm going to probably take a look for maps... (Dun dun duuuuuuuuuuunn....)

I can edit PDFs. Oh, can I also take part in this? I can cover parts of the community. I'm not stuck to NUMA as I am with this forum.GTM wrote:Mmmmyeah. Pdfs might be the way to go. Okay, I suggest that everyone who wants to do this meet up with me on the #nnn irc channel at 12:00 GMT Friday 3rd of June. I'll send PM's around.

Right. If anyone still reads this thread, we need to get this thing rolling. I'm not sure when ChrisE is available, and I know GTM won't be back until Friday/Saturday (he's in Birmingham, as part of some super-ultra maths prodigy group, because he scored incredibly high on the UKMT Maths Challenge paper. Hey, I came a distant second...). So, I propose a meeting this weekend. If anyone could reply times of which they'd be available for this, and I'll try to put together a meeting time (reason being is time zones).
We will get this going. Eventually...

Yes. Re-application. The problem is that we need to know who is actually going to be staying on the project. Theres been people dropping out in the past, so we need to know who will definately be able to help out. Either state it in this thread (like Tunco above), or pm GTM or ChrisE about it.#nnn-Topic wrote:Topic is '| We need inspiration, dedication, and possibly a youtube channel | Will reboot this shit in the summer. And to any moderators, what about a group for the NNN team, like the Legacy Elite or Cool Guys or perhaps like the old Youth and Beauty Brigade.
Just a thought :D.

I'll write reviews. That's it. And I'd like a guaranteed spot once a week.
http://greenbrown.bandcamp.comPeople write to me and say, "I’m giving up, you’re not talking to me." I just write them a simple message like, "Never give up," you know? And it changes their life

Aheh, are we ever going to get this thing started? I haven't been to the site, even, in a while. I'm ready if y'all are.

Well, considering some life choices I'm making, and that I've never really made the effort to keep this up since it's hayday, I'm leaving the nnn. I mean, if I can't commit to it, then why should I ask everyone else to?

Right then. Enough is enough. I say we get this bloody thing started otherwise all this procrastination is going o leave this thing rotting as everybody leaves.
From here, I'm making a list of jobs of which each member will do for the nnn. If there is anybody who's considered joining, but hasn't posted what they'd like to do, if they could do so. Otherwise, I will pm asking what people will do.
Drathmoore: Dictator.
ChrisE: Will be returning in September.
yungerkid: Reviews. m
Amadeus: Reviews. m
29403: Interviewer. m
Squibbles: Interviewer. m
BionicCryonic: Map Scoping. m
Tunco123: Information gatherer.
Flight: .pdf conversion. m
ChaoStar: Editor. m
Lets get this damn rock rolling!

For flips sake guys, you need to sort your lives out a bit.
First, unless you haven't done that already, get a dictator, er I mean, editor in chief. Presumably GTM. You definitely want some serious hierarchy here, communism is no way to work this kind of thing. If everyone answers to one person, then at least someone will have an over view of what's going on without having to play 'he said she said'.
Second, limit the number of people you've got doing stuff; it's all well and good to have man power, but the more man power you have, the more chances you've got of issues lagging thanks to one unreliable member. I would imagine you should get exactly the number of people you need to get an issue out, and then one, or two, or five people who will cover disappearances if the cover is needed, but who don't work on it issue by issue.
I hope that made sense. So yeah, hard, fast dictatorship is what I recommend.
