I agree with eganic. We already have a damn website. Why the hell do we need a special color? Also, the Legacy Team doesn't have a color--that would be the Legacy Elite.

EDIT: Pink is gay. Reppin' the purple, if there was one.

im thankful im not in the pack anymore. im just ballsore (which is an excellent phrase) because a lot of moa is noobs who want to be special and who think they can gain a special status by changing their color. which is shallow.
So I'm a noob? I just want the new color because I don't like the light-blueish of the normal color.

Also, I suppose it's worth mentioning some stuff.

> Colour thing was not my idea. It was my escape goat's idea.

> It'd be convenient to know everyone who was working on the pack from a glance. That's the point of this whole colour shebang, or at least I think that's right.

I do NOT think we need a colour. There are so many of us that a colour doesn't even make us special.

If we do have a colour, it should be subtly different from the other blues, not a whole 'nother colour. I mean, it aggravates me to see that most posts on the forums are made by people in our group, because, honestly, we're a huge group. Colours should be reserved for other things.

It's not even at all totally obvious who said that ;_;

The colour isn't about showing anyone up, it's only for convenience, so people can see who's working on the pack. And I'd agree with the whole subtle shade thing, but then we'd have trouble telling them apart. I think the current colour's going to be the bext midpoint between extreme and indistinguishable.

Pink is better than purple.

What the fuck is going on? We've changed the color ten times, and the last change was changing to red that we all already agreed that sucks.

i think it should be a subtle/pale colour, as having it as a vivid colour is a bit like showing off. Having a pale colour would be better, because of the large amount of people in moa, a vivid colour just looks spammy on the forum.

rosy brown ftw!

Okay, this thing is finally done.
I asked LV about this whole color deal, and he's decided against it.

Short and simple(, and final): MoA is not going to have a different color.

Thank you. What a load of CS.

This is why we can't have nice things

Anyways, I'm fine with us not having a colour if it means we can stop this whole argument.

eganic wrote:i think its stupid that people need their names in color for mappacks.

the colors just distinct some mappers from others, which is a naive way to say "im better than you". why does being part of a map pack put you in a different category than other mappers? even the Legacy Mappack. thats ridiculous.

i can understand mods and admins having special colors, because they're important and they do important things for the benefit of the community, but then people are throwing in the Y&BB colors and other pointless stuff that just deems the whole system worthless.

no one takes anything seriously around here.

Agreed. Especially that last point.

And thus ends the aptly-named Color Fiasco, an event that will go down in history as the most colorful minor squabble in the history of the Forums.

If the decision still stood, though, I would've picked a more darker-golden-yellow. At least one shade darker from gold, so that no eyes irritate and it still would've looked awesome.

Kinda like this. But one shade darker. It looks odd now, but the contrast between the black box behind the nicks would work.

Removed our badge too.

Thought you could sneak that by, didn't you, CS? If we don't get colours, we're not gonna try to sneak a badge past without talking to anyone =P

OOOh, sad we don't get a color ;_; and I was never online to see the big delema about it.

Why can we have a color though? who cares if we are n00bs, it would be [3d]ultra cool[/3d] to have one. And it would be cool to have a custom title and stuff. Besides its just a color, a color on the internet defining absoulotly nothing exectpy we are in MoA. [3d]Bring the cool color back![/3d]

edit: Crimson definatly.

Lavender Blush 2 or the other, near white one. So that it isn't too harsh on the eyes.
