On a side note, the categories are going to be the same from last year. None of us could think of anything that needed to be added or subtracted from last year's list. The categories are going up in the first post so be sure to start getting your nominations ready!

About this, I'd say one subforum in the Special section with one thread for every category on which we'd write our submissions would do just fine. But this is even better.

I think Turtle tried doing that last year, but somehow failed, so I don't know who would run it if there were another one.
Maybe have someone who's still in the community run it?
I could do it?! :D

I kind of like "best post" and "best IRC quote"; of course, you'd have to add in some rule that you can't nominate recent posts on the off-chance that the categories influenced them. It would make it so it wasn't as focused on NUMA and sort of combine in the Forum Dronies. Incidentally, what exactly is the "N Communty Recognition Award"?

If there's a "Best topic" award, I believe I'd win that with my "Ritporn" topic. I mean seriously, it took one hell of a struggle just to get Awesome to believe us.

You know, I still do not know what dronies are even though you all have made an excellent explanation. Really people, what are dronies?

How dare thee, sir! It is this form or repressivity that doth coat these here communities with horrid filth! I shalt have to report thee to the constable!
Not really sure what kind of accent that was supposed to be. But yeah, dronies started out as mapmaking awards (I guess) and then expanded to other things, like the webcomic dronie. I guess. Not really sure here.
