Yeah, I'm not too fond of the banner either. It looks a little... outdated, maybe? Either way, the rest of the forum looks phenomenal. I never thought purple could be used so well, and it's refreshing not to have blue and white again.

I find the banner a bit uneven with the rest of the banner filler (and the .jpeg part, but I see that's being resolved). Other than that, I found one more chink, very minuscule, but might as well be fixed. Other than that, it looks awesome.

I've actually got a .png of the banner. However, the filesize is literally ten times as large (which is still quite small, really). The jpeg distortion is near-invisible on my monitor, so I thought I might as well go with that.
I also have this larger version, but I think it's a bit *too* tall. Though it might be cool if we could put it in the middle, and then have the logut, search etc. links to either side of it.

Have you given any thought to creating links to the other websites that form the N Community, namely Metanet Software, N Wikia, Nmaps.net, Legacy Project, MapWiki and N IRC? I imagine they would be placed in the top right corner below the RealN Forums header. It would look really neat if you could do that, similar in the way it was employed on the old forum.
