Coming from you? Kid, take a look at yourself for a second.

We all step over the mark sometimes, there's a lot of ego floating about this place and it clashes often. Slappy, you're one of the most common culprits of this stop trying to act like you're above it.
My boots are fucking huge.

Also, I'm not above anything. Sometimes you need somebody to step in and tell you what this is becoming, 'cause you don't need back and forth arguments that don't just move to PM. I, of all people, should know first hand that you need someone to do it. Relax, bro.
Ahh, Slappy, fuck you and your diplomatic statements making me feel bad about getting on your case! God damnit!

woah, atob. Calm down.

eganic, that you think you should respect Atramentis and TDL for what they did is baffling. You obviously recognize that it was an asshole thing to do at least. They made a prank, stuck with it and left. But instead of leaving like any normal forumer/NUMAn would, they thought it to be "funny" to say that one of them died. They had to lie to leave because they were too wrapped up in their own ego to bow out humbly.

i recognize that it was an asshole thing to do, yes.

I wouldnt say i respect the two for what they've done. i think its interesting and cool the same way one might think the different characters in mortal kombat are cool. "Oh, neat, check out how that one guy totally mutilated the other guy! its so much cooler than how that one guy mutilated that other guy!" I hope this helped to clear things up. Thanks for not being sarcastic or throwing a cuss-storm at me Southpaw. Its really appreciated.

Pawz, you're right, I should chill a little. It's just that people piss me off when they use cheap social trickery in an attempt to make themselves appear the better person when it's clear as day from their previous posts that they don't have even half-a-clue what they're doing. ;)

I am very sorry to report this, but it is in the best interest of the forum to be aware of the current situation. Kablizzy, the heart and soul of Metanet since the beginning, has left died. He will not be returning. Ever. Though I am not at liberty to discuss the reasons for his departure, I will say that he has made the decision to leave commit hara-kiri. His life has changed dramatically, and he feels that Metanet no longer has a place in his life from now on. Kablizzy has poured his heart into the community (quite literally), but the rest of his world wants his heart as well. (Thus we cremated it and sprinkled the ashes from the top of Mt. Fuji) Therefore Kabizzy will no longer be associated with the forum.

Please use this thread to commemorate Metanet's legend; Kablizzy.

I get it, you're making a comparison! That's adorable. I didn't write that, I didn't want that written, and I wasn't (And probably still aren't) in a good mindset surrounding that event - thus the departure. Should I have stayed gone? Probably. But was I leaving to pull ha-has on everyone? I think you know the answer to that.

Okay, but saying you quit and then making a second account with a different name but still using your admin powers definitely seemed like it was for ha-has. Separate instances, but equally relevant.

Let's look at the checklist;

-Multiple accounts? Check.
-Say you're quitting at least ten times? Check.
-Think that your shit is hilarious but others pulling the same shit as you are "drama-fetishists"?

THAT'S A CHECK, PONTO, AND AREN'T YOU THE BOOT FAIRY!

Faking a members death to fool the community and simply leaving for lols or personal reasons really don't compare to each other.

You seem genuinely annoyed and my apologies if I touched on a subject you don't like discussing or talking or maybe even thinking about. It was a comparison done in jest, not as a personal insult. You can understand that the comparison was simply to highlight the ridiculousness of the last half of this thread and that your 2 or 3 "departures" from the community has created a sort of drama among forumers, even if it was unintentional.

I love how you people make these little pokes at those of us involved in the arguments in this thread like you're making some kind of profoundly witty or insightful contribution.

Most of you are hypocrites, and even more aren't even bright enough to realise how you've just slapped yourselves in the face with that irony. :)

I was really surprised that you'd have made that joke, but some forumers (SLIPPYMCGOO) actually feel that way for some reason. I find it odd that those who profess (Or perhaps once professed) to be my closest of comrades around here are so hell-bent on undermining me and everything I do publicly and at all costs, despite being completely candid in *actual* conversation.
