Metanet Forums

i would like to make an honest attempt in helping the n2 community find a home here on the metanet forums. this may include opening up additional subforums or adding moderators the n2 community trusts. getting word out to them would be key, and having all input would be great

just in starting this off, i've moved the nv2 forum to its own category in preparation for more n2-specific forums and made oleary a moderator

Optimistic, but I'll support it.

for the time being i'm going to update paste.droni.es to allow for both n1.4 and n2 data and use the update to let them know about the forums

legibility? swatch time is neat, but it's a lot easier to read timestamps than trendy nonstandard notations.

also, have you reached out to M&R about this? i think it'd be a good idea to at least notify them, or get them to post a bulletin on the bottom of the N2 screen about it

Also what do you think about putting "Nv2" somewhere in the names of the forums so you can tell whether it's 1.4 or 2.0 when you're in "view new posts"? It would look a little awkward but it would be slightly useful.

i'll look later into maybe just showing the parent forum when that view is rendered

He's a pretty cool/chill dude. He's an active player/mapper in Nv2 (he maps as well under the same name in numa).

Hello Nevada/Sidke, thanks for doing this! I think it would be good idea to make a new thread in 'General n' section called 'Thoughts on N' or something -because a lot of threads in n1.4 and n2 sections should be together in one (I'm thinking specifically of the dream features and dream enemy threads, plus I want to make a Ideas for n storyline thread) otherwise I think this is still a bit messed up

Actually he was active only in Nv2.0 until last month, when he started mapping in NUMA, so its understandable you didn't know him.

This is the real sabk here. No joke. I map alot on N and I am an active user level player

I hope we can group together the 1.4 and 2.0 irc communities as well, in the near future.

well we will try to use this forum more but I will still stay and use both as I have very little choice
