Is it possible we could get the new post marker things to only come up with topics/forums that have had new posts since we last visited or logged in? I liked the way it was on the old forum. There are topics/forums that I don't ever really look at, and it would be nice if I didn't always have those showing that there's new posts when there hasn't been anything since I last looked. Even if its just an option that we could choose the way it is now or the old way in our user control panel, that would be nice.

What skin are you using, as this already happens with hermes: there is a smaller dot joined next to the big dot of the topic icon.

I've got hermes, but I thought that the little dot at the bottom left was for topics you've posted in, not for ones that have had new posts. You are talking about the one that's joined at the bottom left of the big dot, right? Because I don't see any other dots around. And that dot is there for me whether or not there are any new posts for that particular topic.

What I tend to do when I'm done reading through everything I want to is click on the "Mark forums read" button. I'm not sure where that'll be on Hermes.
